Hi, I'm Jody!

At Entrekin Insurance Agency, we believe our responsibility is more than providing insurance policies. Our job is to help people understand their coverage, identify potential gaps, and make informed decisions about protecting what matters most.

For more than 20 years, that belief has guided everything I do.  One of the things I tell clients every day is simple: my job is to educate you. Once I educate you, it's up to you to make an informed decision. We believe clients deserve clear direct answers, honest guidance, and the information they need to make the choices that are right for their families and businesses.

The reality is that most people do not spend much time thinking about insurance. When was the last time you woke up and said, "I can't wait to call my insurance agent today?" Probably never. Most people only think about insurance when something changes in their lives or when they have a claim.

That's why we place such an emphasis on education. Too many people find out what their policy does or does not cover when they file a claim. By then, it's too late. Our goal is to help clients understand their coverage before they ever need to use it so there are fewer surprises when the unexpected happens.

Over the years, I've learned that insurance is about relationships. Anybody can sell a policy. What matters is being there for people before, during, and after they need you. We believe trust is earned through honesty, service, and consistently doing what's right for our clients.

My professional background includes military intelligence, law enforcement, investigations, claims adjusting, insurance education, and agency ownership. Those experiences have taught me the importance of preparation, communication, and helping people make informed decisions.

My faith in Jesus Christ has shaped who I am and the values I try to live by each day. My wife and I have been blessed with three grown children, and family remains one of the greatest blessings in our lives.
